Freedom of expression and freedom of media are fundamental pillars of good governance and political accountability in democratic societies. Ensuring freedom of expression and freedom of media are also key priorities for the European Union (EU) and a key aspect of the EU integration process of the Western Balkans countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina.

An FTV reportage explores how freedom of expression, as one of the most important human rights, is treated in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. It also reveals whether these aspiring EU members are ensuring freedom of expression and media freedom as a core condition to be fulfilled in the accession process.
