Con la crisi energetica in corso la Croazia assume un ruolo strategico nella regione grazie al rigassificatore inaugurato nel 2021 sull'isola di Krk (Veglia). Ma se da un lato il governo Plenković prevede un futuro roseo, gli ambientalisti non sono affatto d'accordo.
